Compensation for more than an hour delayed arrival

On Wednesday May 31st my boyfriend and I had train ticket for the following:

08:36 Gent St Pieters
IC 707
09:50 Lille Flandres

10:09 Lille Flandres
TGV 7040
11:18 Paris Nord

However a couple stops from Lille Flandres we were told that the train was not going there and to get off. We then had to go on a hot and crowded bus to get to Lille Flandres. We were told by the bus driver that we would arrive in Lille at 10:00 but we did not arrive until much later and we missed our TGV connection. After waiting in a long line in Lille Flandres we were given tickets to the next train to Paris however that train left from Lille Europe so we had to walk there. We asked the agent for a refund or at the very least and upgrade to first class but he refused and said to contact sncf online to get the appropriate compensation. We arrived in Paris over an hour later than expected and missed our check in time and we did not have time for lunch. Due to this extreme inconvenience I am requesting compensation for the 2 train tickets.
