How to change date for Auto Train when I do not live in France and have a paper ticket

I am very disappointed at the lack of assistance when I telephone or email about my AutoTrain ticket. I bought a ticket for travel from Paris to Narbonne for 10/05/2017 and now want to change it to 17/05/2017. When I rang yesterday I was advised that because I have a paper ticket it can only be changed in a station in France. That is a bit difficult because I live in Ireland and will not be in France until my date of travel. I paid for a ticket that permits exchange but it now seems I cannot avail of this. I don't want to have to buy a second ticket! I telephone a different number today and the man hung up the telephone because he could not understand my terrible French and did not offer to find me an English speaking Customer Services person. I had been advised yesterday that there would be no problem having someone who could help in English. Feeling so cross!

Can you also, give me your DV number (6 letters indicate on your ticket) in order to find you file, please ?
