Compensation- 5hrs delay

Bonjour! I cannot speak French, so I will just write in English.

I took TGV train on 17th of October at 19:09, and the train number was TGV9785, it was from Paris Gare de Lyon to Geneve.

It was delayed more than 5 hours and I want to ask you about the compensation. They gave me some letter to write, but I prefer to contact via email.

I'd like to get my compensation paid back into my bank account.
In this case what should I do?

Also, I booked this ticket from SBB, so I cannot find my 'Référence Dossier Voyage' from my ticket.

Please tell me what to do.

Writig to SBB will be faster than to write to SNCF who will send the claim to SBB.

Bonjour,

For international trains, compensation is to be claimed to the agency or company having sold the ticket : SBB who delivered your travel references.

Then why SNCF gave me a compensation letter to write?
