SNCF Ticket machine errors and charges

Dear Sir / Madam,

We have been travelling in France the last few days and have twice tried to purchase tickets using your ticket machines (Once at Monaco/Monte Carlo and once at Nice-Ville).

On both occasions, the ticket machines, we've gone through the purchase process, and inserted our credit card, and at the conclusion of the process the machine has reported back "An error has occurred, please see the ticket office". Both times we went to the ticket office and purchased our tickets at the office.

However, today when checking our bank account we can see that SNCF has indeed charged us both times for the transactions at the ticket machines where no tickets were printed. In effect SNCF has charged us twice for each ticket.

How do we go about obtaining a refund or reversal of the charges for these machine errors?

Many thanks, George & Claudia

Hello George,

As Micahel P says you can write to the postal adress of the customer service relation, but you can also send them a mail to that adress :

Best regards
